On Sunday, August 8, Trevor Whetzel, our Youth Pastor will be sharing in the 10:00 a.m. service. Lake Hensley will be our guest speaker in the evening service at 6:30 p.m. Come ready to celebrate the goodness of God, and eager to be fed from God’s Word. |

Ladies Fall Getaway
Falling Waters, WV on Friday & Saturday, September 10-11. The theme is ‘Choices’ and the speaker is Alicia Britt Chole. You may check her out at www.truthportraits.com. The cost for registration is $80 ($72 for 65 & over) which includes 4 meals. The room charge is $55; if you share a room it would be half that amount. Total cost would range from $108 - $135 depending on whether you share a room or want to be alone. We would leave the church at 7:00 a.m. sharp (so please arrive a few minutes before that to load up) on Friday and return around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. We will be stopping for breakfast on the way down, so bring money for that, and for any things you might want to purchase at the camp.
We MUST have your commitment and registration fee on or before August 1. If you plan to go, please let Melinda Miller know ASAP (before the first of August would be great). Rooms fill up quickly so do not delay. See Melinda for a registration form. Make checks payable to First Assembly and mark ‘Ladies Retreat.’ |
